How PulsarX IPL Works?
IPL or Intense Pulsed Light, is a broad-spectrum light that’s used to scatter across the skin to help with permanent hair reduction. It directs light at the melanin (the pigment that gives the skin/hair its colour) in the hair follicle, damaging the root and helping to break the cycle of regrowth.
Unlike Laser Hair Removal, which uses a different focused light and requires a trained technician to perform the work at a clinic, PulsarX IPL Hair Removal device requires no prior training and is very simple and safe to use at home by self. It is a DIY Hair Removal Device.
For PulsarX IPL hair removal device to work effectively, some hair is required to allow the light to target it, so it’s best not to wax or epilate before your session. Just shaving beforehand is advised, as the pulsed light can then reach hair directly at the follicle.

The IPL hair removal device features two modes. First is the manual mode or the “Stamp” mode, and second is the automatic mode or “Sliding mode”.
When the IPL hair removal device is switched on, by default the Manual mode is activated. User will have to press the trigger button manually for each flash or pulse. This mode is convenient for smaller areas like the upper lips, chin, underarms, bikini line etc.
Long pressing the trigger button for about 3 seconds, will activate the automatic mode or slide mode. The device emits a pulse automatically as soon as it senses a “touch” on the skin. And hence this mode is very convenient for larger body parts which needs to be treated faster (hands, legs, chest, back, belly)
HOW TO USE
In order for Pulsarx IPL Hair removal device to work effectively, the hair roots need to remain intact, and only then the light pulses will detect the melanin in the hair. Without the hair roots intact, IPL hair removal will NOT be effective.
It is hence very essential that the user does NOT wax or epilate the hair before. Instead it is highly recommended to only shave the area before using the IPL hair removal device (because the roots remain intact after shaving)
Using PulsarX IPL more frequently during the initial weeks and gradually increasing the intensity of the pulses while you do, leads to maximum results in just 12 weeks.
